You’ll feel like you’re on top of the world when you stay in the Penthouse at Skove Canggu, level with the treetops and a little bit closer to Bali’s carefree kites. Here, cream stone walls and recycled timbers are paired with modern furnishings, artworks, and artefacts.

The 2-bedroom penthouse comes with a private plunge pool. Located on different levels, the two bedrooms are spacious and elegant, each with air-conditioning as well as a ceiling fan. Each is furnished with a built-in terrazzo king-size bed and a laptop-friendly worktable, a 43-inch Smart TV with streaming service and a Bluetooth speaker system. Both rooms have blackout curtains, electricity sockets close to the bed, an in-room safe, and a wardrobe cabinet. Fresh linens are provided as well as a daily turndown service. Each bedroom is adjoined by a private ensuite bathroom characterised by a mosaic floor of pentagonal tiles, and is fitted with a washbasin, toilet, walk-in monsoon shower, and a funky mirror.

Accessed via an interior winding stone staircase encased within tile clad walls, the upstairs bedroom showcases recycled timber floors, a timber lined ceiling, multi-framed windows and an eco-friendly bamboo door. 

The hub of the penthouse is the shaded outdoor living space, which opens up to the plunge pool. It is furnished with a built-in daybed, a coffee table and a colourful kilim rug. Flooded with natural light, the second bedroom also opens directly to the plunge pool, which is bordered by leafy green plants, introducing a glorious splash of nature to the scene.  The kitchenette is equipped with a refrigerator, stove, electric kettle, glasses, and dinnerware for both guest use and for the personal catering services of a private chef (at additional cost).
